The Night Was Scary Without You

Part-2

Standing at the gate,
For the first time I wished you were not late.
Night seemed so dark and cold,
Afraid of any new twist next moment may unfold.
I came alone, waited alone,
There were no people around and I could talk to none.
                                               Waiting room was big,
Not big enough to make me sit.
Fear, anxiety was all I felt,
Introspection of my decisions made me sweat.
                                               I came alone, waited alone,
There were no people around and I could talk to none.
What made me so scared I thought,
May be I was haunted by the pessimistic ghost.
You were also tensed,
Pressing your car throttle to maximum, I sensed.
I came alone, waited alone,
There were no people around and I could talk to none.
Finally, you came and others too,
I made a quick prayer, "God, Thank You!".
Shouting, "Do you have any clue,
The night was scary without you!".
                                               I came alone, waited alone,
There were no people around and I could talk to none.
